Tried it? Say so.
AgePony is a one-person project, so a rating on the store does more than you'd think — it's the difference between someone finding it and not. If the app earned it, here's where to leave a word.
What tends to land with people
Rather than dress this page up with quotes, here's an honest read on what AgePony is good at, so you know what you're rating.
It just makes a real age file
No proprietary container, no "export" step. What comes out is a standard .age file that the desktop age tool reads, and a standard SSHSIG that ssh-keygen verifies. People who already use those tools notice immediately.
The GitHub-username trick
Typing a username instead of hunting down a public key is the feature that tends to make people smile the first time.
Nothing phones home
No account, no analytics, no backend. For a security tool, that absence is the feature.
Found a bug instead of a compliment? That's just as welcome, and it goes straight to me: NorseHorse@norsehor.se.
